We are looking for senior structural engineers to join our growing architecture and engineering department based in Frederick, Maryland. This is an exciting opportunity to establish new engineering standards, build internal capacity and become part of a team that has established key home construction innovations. If you’re a licensed PE with a passion for wooden frame designs and residential construction, this is your chance to leave your mark in a dynamic and expanding organization. This senior structural engineer’s qualifications and responsibilities, PE positions include: – Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on structure – Active Professional (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) License at least one US state – 6-8 years of experience in structural engineering experience. Knowledge of Tekla Tedds is a plus- Perform structural calculations (load development, headers/beams, gravity and lateral design)- Create and implement new engineering standards while supporting compliance with building codes- Lead projects, manage schedules, and mental junior engineers as the department grows- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, construction teams, procurement, and inspectorsSalary: $100,000 – $135,000 Per year, a year worthy of experience.
