Responsibility provides production support in the area of responsibility. Leading the discovery and implementation of new manufacturing processes, bonding methodologies, pre-/after-treatment methods, and rubber-to-metal bonded product chemicals. Define and optimize metal preparation procedures to ensure adhesive material/process selection, creation of internal specification requirements, and compatibility with external requirements. Work closely with the design team to reduce manufacturing risks and meet new part approval deadlines to invite, develop and disseminate new technologies/solutions to support projects and customers. Coatings, elastomers, processes, etc. We develop material characterization techniques that better predict product performance. Support peers and other departments in brainstorming and troubleshooting efforts. Requirements such as safety, performance, consistency, cost, etc. A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required. Materials, chemicals, polymers, machines. Over 4 years of engineering experience…materials, processes, manufacturing, chemicals, R&D, and/or projects. Experience in chemical manufacturing environments: rubber, plastics, chemicals, oil, gas, adhesives, etc. Ability to work with mechanical design engineers, quality engineering, supply chains, manufacturing process engineers Ensure new materials and processes to meet new applications and manufacturing needs.
