Every year, human dispatch is unique, and by cooperating with a wonderful client in 2024, I wanted to share some of the most memorable things!
Career goes around
This year, we had the pleasure of celebrating something really special. The candidates left 25 years ago retired after a long and rewarding career. Looking back at their first day and seeing where they ended, we smile. It is surprising to know that we have a hand on their journey, and it is a moment to remember why we love what we are doing. 。
Faithful clients find a new beginning
Another moment I was really particular about this year was when a 21 -year client hit a rough patch after the company was sold. They reached out and helped them find a new role with another client we have known for 10 years. It was very good to see them getting on their feet. It is such an era to thank us for the relationship we have built and the trust we have left for us. We are happy to be there and help me.
Occasionally (often), the interview draws some unexpected jewels that make us smile. Some of my favorite 2024 are as follows:
“I’m too old to make that poo.”
This was laughing, straight, and honest.
“I have a backpack today, so I can fill the freezer with meat. My bag is full of sausages.”
It’s literally as good as confusing. It’s just as interesting, but it’s clearly less relevant than the previous one.
The moment of a surprise interview:
The interview is making an unexpected turn. We have certainly seen our fair share before. There is a moment that stands out from 2024.
The candidate’s phone rang in the middle of the interview. He picked up it, lifted his finger, said “a little,” and tried to get out of the office. He opened the door and said, “Hello, Hello, Hello.” It turned out that no one on the other side was a spam call. He returned, sat down, and explained, “I keep these strange calls from numbers that no one knows on other lines.” It is a moment to keep us on your toes and confirm that everything is on track.
Another candidate took his wife to an interview and asked if she could come with him. It lost a little word to us. It is not every day that someone brings a plus one to the interview! We navigated the situation smoothly and kept things while keeping things in a professional.
Processing these unexpected moments is a part of everything we do, and all stakeholders guarantee that they will run the process smoothly and efficiently.
Interviews?
We came as a candidate for thinking that it was a preparatory meeting. On the way, they asked when the actual interview would happen. When they explained that this was an interview, they were really surprised. It was a strange moment, but we all laughed about it.
One candidate has decided to be a creative in a candidate contract. They signed it, but added a bundle of their conditions to the contract. The terms of negotiations are normal, but they change them in their own … it was very surprising to see their personal clause, and it was definitely laughing at us. I gave it.
Is your dishwasher running?
During the call with the candidate, they asked me to hold me, but did not actually mute the phone. I tried to listen to their whole conversation because they tried to sell a broken dishwasher. It was one of the moments when you had to laugh and roll it.
When asked if they could pass the drug check, one candidate answered honestly that 30 days would be required to get clean results. It may not be the answer we expected, but it was refreshing and frank!
We are growing every year and add new places to the list of satisfied roles. In 2024, there is a part of the hired location.
