A top leader in the commercial MEP/HVAC industry is seeking a Lead Estimator to join their team in Bristol, Tennessee. With a strong reputation built over more than 30 years, the company is known for delivering superior projects in hospitals, schools, manufacturing facilities, and office buildings throughout Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina. Qualifications and responsibilities for this lead estimator position include: – Minimum of 5 years of HVAC and/or plumbing estimating experience with proven track record. – Be proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and construction documents. – We are looking for motivated and motivated people. -Must be a personable person with excellent communication skills. – The ideal candidate is outgoing, customer-focused, and prioritizes building relationships. – Strong work ethic and results-oriented attitude required. Required. – Experience using Trimble Estimating Software and Microsoft Office Suite. – Supervise and coach a team of three estimators to ensure quality and efficiency. – Occasionally visit the site and participate in pre-bid walk-throughs. – Prepare accurate and detailed estimates, including material pick-up. – Manage RFIs to create clear and detailed proposals and address project ambiguities. Salary: $85,000 to $110,000 per person, depending on years of experience. Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct hire position offers great benefits including a 401(k) with a 3% match, health insurance, $10,000 in life insurance, paid time off with a flexible accrual system, and profit sharing.
